Rob is Managing Director at DevComms, which strives to change perceptions of development.For nearly 25 years, Rob has been supporting clients in the property development sector by helping to reduce risk in the planning system. Outside of work, Rob is now also kept busy with his two young daughters.

Work Hard…

DevComms are specialists at political and stakeholder engagement working exclusively in the property and planning sector. The senior team has over 90 years’ collective experience. It specialises in complex planning and development projects for developers and landowners, including FTSE 100 firms - helping them deliver their strategic development programmes and achieve their growth targets.

With a complex and fluid political landscape, it is important to engage the right specialists. The deep level of experience at DevComms, alongside its strategic and analytical approach ensures the delivery of the right communications strategy to secure success.

During his career, Rob has been involved in several hundred projects ranging from care homes to top-flight sports stadia. He is currently providing strategic advice on several large housing promotions as well as a range of other development projects that have complex issues. He enjoys working in a collaborative way and developing strong relationships.

Rob is an Accredited Member of the Chartered institute of Public Relations and enjoys thought leadership and delivering CPD sessions to other development sector professionals.

Outside of work, he has recently been involved in the preparation and making of a Neighbourhood Plan, becoming Vice Chair of the Steering Group. In addition to being kept busy by his girls, Rob still manages to sneak off snowboarding from time to time.
